Description
Lincoln Green, established by Anthony Hughes in 2012 takes its name from the colour of dyed woollen cloth worn by the legendary Robin Hood well known for championing the rights of everyday working folk. And like Robin Hood we believe in putting people at the heart of everything we do.

The words ‘quality’ and ‘consistency’ resonate throughout our business. From our brewery team who deliver beers that always taste great, through to our pub teams who ensure that they are served in the best possible condition. Sample@GBBF2018, London, with the Malmö crew - pours golden with a white head. Sweet pale bready malty with some prominent strawberry notes, light lacto vanilla coming in, medium to light body, fruity hoppy finish.

16/11/2018. Cask at the Cambridge Winter Beer Festival 2018. Pours dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, coconut, lactose, toffee and fruit. Medium to heavy sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Roasted marshmallow finish.

16/11/2018. Cask at the Cambridge Winter Beer Festival 2018. Pours very dark brown with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, cherry, blackcurrant and lightly roasted malt. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, slight sticky texture, soft carbonation. Dry finish with a hint of liquorice.

Cask at Cambridge Winter Beer Festival 2018. Black brown colour, biege foam head leaving lacing and dark malt berry fruit aroma. Taste is malty, caramel with dark fruity and roasty notes. Medium bodied, sofy carbonation, dry roasty finish. Quite drinkable.

ABV: 4.3%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, bread - dough, fruiy malt, sweet malt, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181020]

Cask @ Cambridge Blue, Cambridge. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are cherry marmelade, chocolate, roast malt and hops. Sweet finish.

Cask @ Cambridge Blue, Cambridge. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, dark chocolate and sweet cherries. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. Seems a bit artificial. 151018
