Half-pint, cask ale shared with Finn at Malt Shovel in Northampton. Lacing rings down the glass from a bubbly, beige head. Dark brown body with a shade of red. Inviting malt-cherry aromas. Well blended taste of dark berries and chocolate mats. Prolonged malt-berry finish. Medium bodied. Nice. (12.02.2019).

The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth, malty, light fruit, light pepper spice, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
