Bottle at tht. 12 months plus version. Aroma of wood, red wind, raisin and vanilla. Taste has lots of oak, ripe red fruit, dry tannines and some vanilla. Good stuff.

04.04.2018 -- 0.33l bottle from maakun, thanks! bb 03.2018. pours a murky orange with a huge steady head. aroma of peat, iodine, medicine, sweet fruity hops, a bit of hoppy weizen even. flavour of peat, grapefruit, grass. light, slightly oily mouthfeel. weird but ok.

Borefts IX. Day 2. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and has modest fine carbonation. Thin dark malts, trace of dark chocolate. Tangy smoky tea. Tangy dark fruits. Light dry and slightly spicy finish. Nice idea, doesn't really work that well for me.

Draught @ BAF 2016 [ Borefts After Festival: BAF! ] @ Brouwerij Kaapse, Veerlaan 19-D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN. [ As Kwartje Upgrade (Chili) ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, chili fruit, fruity, spicy - mint. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, chocolate, chili, spicy - mint. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
