Bottle. Color: Hazy brownish orange, fast disappearing head. Quite fizzy when pouring. Aroma: Moderate tart and sweet, spicy, subtle Rum. Taste: Light to moderate tart and sweet, subtle spicy notes, some funk, some minerals, some wood, yeasty hints, some subtle Rum notes coming and going. The Rum is coming a little bit more to the foreground at the finish. No specific taste that really stands out. Everything quite subtle. Medium body, below average carbonation. Nice complexity, unusual, enjoyable.

Bottle at Maakun’s. Hazy golden with white head. Sweet, and grainy, very french virgin oaky woody, vanilla tones over apricot and grainy sour. Medium body and soft carbonation. Nice smooth and subtle sour, bit Nevel vibes, but then the Tripel version. Quite nice!!

Bottle shared. Bit hazy golden with small white head. Flowery, oak, sweet malts, Brett, white wine, tangerine, funk, some dough, tortilla chips, lemon. Under medium sweet and sour and bitter. Almost full bodied with slight dry finish. Lick the plank!

ichtbruin troebel bier met schuim. Smaak is licht zoet, fruitig en bitter hoppig met iets van grapefruit, mandarijn en mango. Erg fijn bier met een mooie zachte en verfijnde smaak.
