On tap at Boréale - Montréal. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Yuzu and pine on the nose. Flavour bright pine and yuzu. Not my favourite hop expression, but still decent.

Hazy, golden-orange colour with a bubbly-frothy off-white head, decent retention and some foamy-bubbly lacing ring. Big fruity aromas with peach, mango, orange juice notes with a touch of pineapple. Eventually, some fresh herbal nose comes out, blended with some resin and oats. A wet mouthfeel with a nice, slow-building dryness. A nice mix of citrus, tropical and stone fruits in the taste with good grassiness, zestiness and a tad pine. Not getting so much the watermelon candy and raspberries the Anchovy hops are said to be. Just a good NEIPA that is refreshing, but with drying citrus zest in the end.

Can: Poured a yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of resinous hoppy notes with some floral hops undertones and bitter notes. Taste is also a good mix of resinous notes and floral hops notes with dry bitter notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but a bit too dry for good drinkability.

A very slight haze, light golden-yellow colour with a bubbly-froth white cap, average stay and some soapy lacing spots. A herbal nose with a citrus touch, some soap notes, mild spiciness and a tad sweet cereal malts. The taste shares fresh, herbal flavours over the cereal malt base, with floral hints. Soy is listed in the ingredients ?? Not a bad Pilsner d'Alsace, refreshing, crisp, mildly spicy, herbal and floral.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: burnt dark yellow cloudiness with a three finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet orangey to mixed citrus zesty hope toned with a touch of lemon rind bitterness and then some super light malts in the background
Flavor: takes the prior noted aromas to blend nicely in a semi-soft sweet and somewhat juicy sort of way and adds a little bit of mango; finishes slightly dry with mango and orangey tones
Texture: light to medium bodied; great sessionability; good smoothness without anything distracting; good carb level and low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: probably their best beer to date for me as I believe I would like to come back to this one.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: golden burnt orange color with a two and a quarter fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: orangey to pineapple-y to subtle mango hop notes with a slight sweet herbal to earthy whiff in the middle and a softer malt backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to semi-juicy bittersweet quality; finishes sweet with a touch of juicy oranges
Texture: light to medium bodied; somewhat sesionable; some smoothness but a discernible dryness seems to level out the smoothness a bit; good low carb and low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: nice enough NEIPA I could come back to.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: copper color with a sly transparency about the edges and a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: herbal to floral hop notes up front with a clean caramel malt backbone
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine bitter to bittersweet quality; finishes dry and malty with a touch of hop earthiness
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe a touch closer to light bodied; sessionable; good smoothness along the tongue with expected dryness but wasn't distracting; good carb level; medium hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: not bad as a semi-old school APA style, maybe again? maybe.
