7th March 2010. On tap at the overpriced Grand Place. Clear brown beer. Light fresh palate. Sweet malt - very sweet! Has some nicely integrated bubblegum. A pretty average beer elevated somewhat by it’s freshness. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts!

7th March 2010. On tap at the overpriced Grand Place. Nice setting though! Pale gold beer, little white head. Softish dry palate. Nice aromatic malt with pleasantly fresh fruit. Sweet peach, creamy malt, a little orange. Finishes soft and dry. Decent.

7th March 2010. Pale gold clear beer, shite suddy head. Lagerish malt nose. Crisp light palate. Very light caraway malt. A whisper of hop. Crisp finish. Refreshing but very odinary.

Location: Had this one at some Restaurant in NYC, Late April 2010
Aroma: Lots of yeast on the nose, with some fruitiness as well
Appearance: Fairly typical appearance for the style, hazy golden color
Flavor: Taste is also rather yeasty, with some spice and fruity sweetness
Palate: The body is light-medium, an alright body, drinkable enough
Overall Impression: This is a fairly mediocre Belgian White overall. Not a whole lot going on here to make it a stand-out in the style. A boring white.

Sample at Buckeye Beer Engine. The beer is a hazy yellow color with a thick and fizzy white head that burns down to a film relatively fast. Stringy lacing on the glass. Spiced aroma with some banana notes. Light body with flavors of sweet fruit and spices, plus a touch of wheat. The finish is mostly banana with a bit of coriander up front, and leaves a short citrus aftertaste. Barely average overall.

On tap at Grand Place brewpub, Brussels. Gold, lasting white head. Tastes more like a lager. OK blond but not too interesting. Glad we got all of these beers out of the way between 5 of us.

On tap at Grand Place brewpub, Brussels. Clear gold, thin white head. Very fruity aroma. OK in mouth. OK fruit in mouth bit too much like the fruit salad sweets of my kiddie youth.
