Bottle looks very simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, darker than exspected, nice head. Starts intense malty, but also a bit moldy and unbalanced. Finish more balanced, still fine spicy. Okay.

Amber coloured with a moderate, off-white head. Malty aroma with a touch of toffee. More malt flavour with a decent dry finish. Good.

0.5l bottle. Clear amber body, white head. Aroma of grains, bread, toast and floral hops. Taste of grains and bread with a hint of toast and some fruity hops. It’s OK, but I think it could also have some caramel and dark fruit character to it.

Rating from 5.8.2007: Sehr schönes rot-blondes Bier.

Etwas schroffer Abgang. - Etwas zu holzschnittartig, um zu überzeugen.

Bottled. Goldeny orange colour with a big fluffy white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is quite big on the earthiness, some grass and bready malts as well as some slight herbal notes. Flavour is bready malts, some earth, grass and mild grainy notes as well.

Bottled. Amber colour, small sightly off-white fluffy head. Aroma is bread, some slight sweet malts, herbs and mild toasted maltiness to it. Flavour is rather similar in a good balance. This beer actually probably would suit a food table better, than just drinking it on it’s own.
