(Bottle 50 cl) Comes simply as "Hetzelsdorfer Festbier". Pours a clear amber with a bubbly and dissipating off-white head. Lightly caramelish nose. Medium body with notes of caramel. Dry, hoppy finish. Lovely. 190206

An amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel - and so is the flavor - leading to a bitter end.

An amber beer with a dying white head. The aroma is slightly alcoholic and caramelic. The flavor is malty with primary notes of caramel, leading to a light dry hoppy end.

Primär herber Antrunk, der von getreidigem und semigen Hopfen unterstützt wird. Später kristallisiert sich die Herbe hier stärker heraus, nicht außer Acht lassen sollte man dann auch die daran hängende Bitterkeit. Angenehm aber von der Bitterkeit heruntergespielt wird ein leichtes Erdnussaroma, das wohl aus dem Hopfen resultiert und somit den verbliebenen Rest davon darstellt. Süß-würziger Abgang, in dem das genannte Aroma die Hauptrolle spielt Insgesamt unspektakulär. 10/9/9/9/8/9

Bottle (from Landbierparadies): Copper coloured, fluffy head, quickly diminishing; light fruity-malty nose with a tinge of molasses; faint malty-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; malty finish with some fruitiness and some bitterness in the wings. Not bad, but not my franconian favourite..................

Wie schon beschrieben riecht das Bier süß und kaffeeartig.Irgendwie schmeckt dieses Bier recht nichtssagend, es schmeckt herb, n bisschen kaffeeartig, das dies eine Maibock sein soll, ist fast schon lachhaft. Hau weg den Rotz! Test vom 7.7.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,6,12,6,11,7 - 7,75

Der Geruch ist malzig und süßlich. Das Bier selber schmeckt eigentlich nur herb, im Nachgeschmack noch viel herber werdend, nur ganz am Ende kann man einen malzigen Beigeschmack ausmachen. Das nenn ich verhunzt! Test vom 7.7.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,5,6,6,13,6 - 6,60
