500ml bottle. Cloudy, chestnut colour with huge, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, minimally nutty malty and yeasty fruity and minimally spicy aroma, notes of apple, pear, a touch of clove and nutmeg, chestnut, minimally waxy overtones. Taste is minimally nutty, grainy, malty, yeasty spicy and slightly yeasty fruity, minimally leafy hoppy, hints of apple, pear, some white pepper, a minimally waxy touch.
Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, soft, mildly prickly carbonation.
Nice fruity aspects, a tad disharmonious overall - acceptable.

0.5l bottle from Brauliebe Hirz, shared with Gurthnar. Very dark brown body, chestnut, creamy beige head. Odd corky, bit chocolatey aroma, sharp. Bit tart, perfumey taste, odd dried berry notes, vaguely spicy, mildly creamy. Dunno, the least impressive from Apostelbräu in my book.

Shared by Marko, many thanks! Thinnish bod, med carbo. Lots of very weird soapy lavenderish off flavour. Very little actual beer flavour, I do not get any malt or hops, just soap and weird perfume. WTF how does this happen even. Bad.

Bottle that we, me, Loz and Marko picked up yesterday from the brewery. Had this Saturday 14th February 2026 at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Maserati - Rehumanizer. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Good barrel ageing, soft, good carbonation, a little vanilla, not doing too much for me, it's fine..Score 6.8

0.33l bottle for Brauliebe Hirz, shared at Mangled Ham 2026. Lighlty hazy golden body, fleeting head. Cloves and light vanilla and coconut notes in the aroma, the barrel being subtle, but not invisible, some peachy esters too. Lean, dryish peach, plum and coconut vanilla barrel taste, light herbal notes by the finish. The balance between the base and the barrel is actually quite good, the notes mixing well. Props! Not sure what I expected, but this was a pleasant surprise.
