Bottle from the Scotmid. Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Aromas of bready malt, herbal hops. Taste is more of the same. Thin finish. Triple hop?

Clear amber beer, big pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Soft and semi dry malts, a light creamy sweetness and good bready vibe. Mild pine leads to fairly ripe citrus. Some Brambling Cross soft blackberry. Smooth finish. Pretty good actually. It's not a big punchy hop affair but does a decent job by using Brambling Cross.

Bottle from the Coop that's by the Pets At Home in New Haw, not the one that's opposite the Chippy. Yeah, that one. Aroma had initial cacao that is soon joined by a big dose of vanilla cream. Dark. Positively Stygian. Fluffy foamy beige head. Medium bitter cacao... mocha. A tangy berry sourness then sweeps in. Peripheral creaminess. Light although it still has a creamy texture. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Hits the spot for me.

Bottle from Co-op Oldmeldrum. It pours not that cloudy at all! It is clear pale greenish - yellow with a small, frothy white cap. The aroma is perfumed & intoxicating, sweet - sour apple, apple skin, apple crumble, dry oak, sweet white grape, melon and candy. The taste is fairly crisp upfront, snappy, bitter - sweet, bright sweet apple character, apple skin, oak, light tannin, white sugar, golden delicious, melon, spor plooms, sherbet, pineapple chunks, candy and a light nip of booze with a sweet candied apple finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Errs towards a bit too sweet for me, but there is tang and boost. Not bad.

Grainy Ale nose. The beer is slightly sourish with fruity parts. Hints of grain, caramel. Not too much depth, very soft with a grainy caramelly finish. Easy to drink with soft finish.

[50cl bottle from my local Co-op.] A bright reddish chestnut pour with a fast fading beige head; strong malty aroma; malty taste with lots of burnt sugar adding bitterness and sweetness; then some bitter treacle to finish. A heavyweight beer.

Bottle from Scotmid. Appearance - deep brown. Decent white head. Nose - sweet malt, toffee, candied orange and just a hint of red fruits. Generally cakey. Taste - dry red fruit, caramel, brown bread. Light burnt toffee and toastiness. Palate - medium bodied with elements of sweet and bitter going on. Overall - enjoyed this.
