Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 6/1/2014. Pale gold in colour, with a decent, white, head. Aroma of hay, tropical fruits and a hint of grassy hop. Flavour had more pronounced fruits, some creamy malts and a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Cask, on gravity at the Lower Lode Inn, across the river from Tewkesbury 9/9/2014. Near black in colour, with next to no head. Light, chocolate and porridge oat aroma with a touch of roastiness. Flavour had milk chocolate and flapjack sweetness, some dark fruit and a gentle, toasty finish. Enjoyable.
