St Anne's Summer Seaside Day.Out Beer#8. Had my maiden voyage on the Pitch & Putt today, carding an 87 over my 18 holes. This Maiden Voyage is darker clear golden in colour, glows a bit in the sun like most do. Quite easy despite this robust appearance, hopped first, hints of fruit, very traditional design for these shores. Decent.

Yellow clear, white foam. Nice grass and fruit in the aroma. Orange, new grass, with growing old orange in the aftertaste.

440ml can bought at Tønne, Leicester. Mid-gold and clear with a light cover of white head. Orange peel on the nose, some resin, some plastic. Taste is mostly sweet, a little spicy, with some astringent bitterness popping up near the finish. Then more candied orange. Light mode with medium carbonation. Is it a classic APA? No. Is it decent? Just about.

Sounds like a radio station, but drinks like a session golden ale, with a slightly deeper clear golden appearance. Nice and hoppy with a hint of fruit and lower-end bitterness.

Hand pulled half pint on 21st May 2026, in the Waggon and Horses, York. Guess the colour of the beer; it's got a white head too! Floral and light citrus notes to the aroma and taste, lacked oomph, but was OK.

Cask at the Cornubia, Bristol on 13th May 2026. Crystal clear coppery amber with minimal foam and spot lacing. Pungent aroma. Rich and nutty maltiness dominating in-mouth, and a pleasant, malt-led finish. Full to medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Very pleasant.

Cardiff Mini-break Beer#8. Mildly hazed deeper amber coloured ale. A fruity bitter, quite traditional in its design, indigenous flavours, and a lower-end bitterness.
