Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival, 17th & 18th February 2012 Quite an unusual cider from the off, noise is pear drops and a little sweetness, I don’t get the Russet apples which I understand this primarily came from, tangy and a little bit plasticcy at times. Unusual I will admit but not totally my thing. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Cask at The Hop Pole, Ayelesbury. HAzy very pale yellow. Citric nose. Bone dry with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Lemony sourness, some apple skin bitterness. Lambic like, but without the funk.
