Can, 2024, drunk 6/30/24. Probably clear, dark. Small, tan head to ring quickly. Tawny Port leading the way with sweet raisin and good chocolatey malt. Some drier whiskey and raisin again. Not boozey. Sweet, malty, chewy, fudgey with smoke and char, lots of brandy and light vanilla. Not boozey. If anything, a bit sweet, the port sort of exacerbating that.

16 oz. Can shared by ClarkVV. Thank you! Aroma has a jammy port barrel hint, roast. Flavor has soft rue barrel with the jammy Port character. Roasted malt is tamed by the barrel aging. A nice range of flavors. Quite good!

Thanks Clark, sweet tawny port with lots of sweetness that lingers. It's good but borders over sweet.

16 ounce can from brewery. Hazy yellow gold color. Large pillowy white head. Aroma of yeasty bread, cut grass and lemon peel. Flavor follows nose. Hay, lemon, rustic bread and a bit of mild funk. Quite peppery on back end. Truly refreshing.

375mL bottle at the brewery. Clear brass-bronze-golden. Small, white head steadily to partial cover. Yeah, that does smell pretty sublime. A far cry from the super-acidic Wild Childs they have in bottles. A nice blend of assertive, moderately buttery oak, strong, cherry-like Brett and moderate, mellow lactic character. Nice rich maltiness with honey and light graham cracker-like notes. No booze, low acetic. Buttery oak, moderate, but mellowed acetic and strong but fairly mellow lactic acidity. Big malts with rich, buttery oak. Reminds me of a California Chardonnay, but a high quality one. Definitely a step up from the current wild child's, but still wouldn't hate if they dialed back that acetic character.

Can consumed on my day of birth. It pours lightly hazy luminous golden - yellow with a fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, freshly cut grass, dank, slightly herbal, sticky, resin, sappy pine, ripe orangey fruits, marmalade, juicy, mango, papaya and a splash of Fanta. The taste delivers a very pleasing hit of bitterness upfront which lingers throughout, drying, green, weedy, herbal, slightly dank, spicy vibes, pithy, zesty, orange rind, grapefruit, pomelo, tropical accents, mango, papaya, pine needles and big ol' slap of alcohol towards the back end to keep you in check. Finish is green and bitter. Medium body and moderate, well appointed carbonation. Hides abv very well. Exquisite balance and high drinkability. Lovely.

Can from Explosivedog: barely misty with sediment. Big white head. Aroma is citrus, mango, spice, some tropics. Easy drinking for size. Pretty intense. Sorr of bitter. Very fruity. Spiciness adds an element in mouthfeel. A lot.
