Little Critters Brewing Co.
Microbrewery in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England 🏴
Established in 2016
Late 2015 we found a unit in the Kelham area where we knew the water was good and immediately felt at home. Cold Room built, drainage plinth sorted, Dave Porter supplied and fitted the kit – we started our adventures in brewing beer.
As per plan within a short period of time we took on an experienced brewer. This was followed by us taking on a full time sales and delivery person. We’ve continued to grow the business with new processes, new kit, more people, new recipes and now have a stable 10BBL plant with a great team.
With great folk working for us at the brewery we continue to learn everyday. We’re passionate about making beer and try to retain the home brew spirit of experimentation and fun. We really appreciate the feedback we’re getting from our growing customer base and looking forward to a return to growth over 2021.

Pint on tap at Bluecoat, Rotherham. Thick creamy white head. Clear golden pour. Nice bitterness. It doesn't taste like a 6.5% beer.

Cask @ Commercial Inn, Sowerby Bridge. Golden with a small head. It has a full-body, its strength is apparent but with a mild tropical fruitiness that proves tasty enough.

Cask @ Hedley Verity, Leeds. Hazy yellow-blonde with a head. Has a decent hop-malt balance, although it's a little thin with this. There's a lingering bitter finish.

Calderdale Beer Festival 2017. Golden in colour with a malt-hop balance - but if pushed probably just a little more of the latter in this session ale.

Cask @ The Cherry Tree, Huddersfield. Golden with a small head. It has a clear strength to it, and a mild sweetness to what would otherwise be a very hoppy ale without it.

From cask at Salford Arms with JFE and BG 20.01.18. Clear golden. Dense and persistent off-white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of pale malt, sweet citrus, citrus juice and marmalade. Medium citrus bitterness balanced with pale malt.
