Cask half-pint in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates Shropshire on 17th March 2016. Light amber pour, white head with lacing. Slightly more malty than hoppy with a mild fruitiness within the flavour: decent and simple.

GraviCask, half pint shared with Finn at Canalhouse, beer fest Champion Beer of Nottinghamshire. Deep dark brown body, missing head, minimal lacing. Roasted caramel malts, hints of earth and bread. Similar flavours of caramel, bread and malt-fruity bitterness to the ending. Well balanced. Decent (Nottingham 20.02.2016).

Cask at the 2016 National Winter Ales Festival, The Roundhouse, Derby. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Toffee and chocolate aroma. Licorice, treacle toffee and chocolate flavour. Good.

tried at the Strugglers Inn, Lincoln. Hazy ruby colour with an off white head. Aroma, fruit, and yeasty. Taste is red wine and woody. Nice, but not as complex as a Belgian Dubbel.

Cask at Merton Beer Festival, Friday, 26th February 2016 This looks good, light amber in colour with a small bubbly white head, clear as a bell. Easy drinking fruity beer, a touch simplistic perhaps, it’s popular, however I think that it is fine, nothing more nothing less. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov12 3.2

Cask gravity at Merton Winter BF 2016. Clear deep gold lasting white head. Bitter tasting. Some hop. Some white stone fruit. Tasty enough. Some bitterness on the finish. Good.

Mini Keg from The Real Ale Store, Newark. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma has plenty of citrus, taste light sweet with a light bitter finish. Very easy to drink session beer.
