Cask at The Market Porter, London. Pours clear, red-brown with a creamy, tan head. Some toasty caramel in the nose. Light sweet flavor, some ripe and semi-dark fruits, light sugary bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Semi-sweet finish, faintly dry, some fruits, mild toffee, toasty caramel. Not bad. Very basic.

Cask, gravity at The Blacks Head, Bletchingdon, Oxon, 07.11.11 Pours chestnut with a good clarity, though there is no head. Malty, with plenty of toffee flavours, some bitterness shining through. This along with about six other casks were left from a beer festival held over the weekend and were still in v.good nick on the Monday evening when we had them, £1.50 a pint was a veritable bargain.
