Cask. Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield. Clear as a bell, old gold. Loose suds of white. Nose has grated ginger. Biscuit grain. Taste is fairly sweet, with a moderate hop bitterness. Nice tingle of ginger on the palate. Light body. Low carbonation. Light bitter finish, with the ginger staying the course.

Cask at Ye Cracke, Liverpool. Pale golden colour, white foam head leaving lacing and citrus hop aroma. Taste is pale malt, grain, biscuit with some tangerine, citrus hop bitterness. Watery mouthfeel, light bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK.
