Cask gravity at Market Porter, Borough. Copper, thin beige head. It’s a slightly yeasty acidic bitter, some woodiness on aroma. Some mid citrus fruits in mouth. bit of juiciness in the malts. It’s a bitter, bit acidic maybe.

Århus2008. 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a creamy and tan head. Mild fruity and caramel malt aroma. Medium sweet caramel flavour with a nice fruity note to it, yet just average flavour. Mild bitterness into the finish.

500 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a thin off-white head. Aroma is mild, fruity with a hint of hops. Flavor is relatively sweet and malty with a slightly bitter finish. Rather watery body. Quite straight forward bitter and actually a bit dull. Woods has a few much better brews than this.

[i] [b] Cask at The Church, Ludlow, Salop, 05-04-08 [/i] [/b] Pours more dark golden than amber but I can imagine it might also look amber to others, with a slight haze and slowly receding small white head. Crisp refreshing and with a great fruity bitter bite, this is a nice snappy bitter that is really quite flavoursome and infinitely better than the Rushing Dolls beer also sampled here.

Bottle. Pours an almost clear orange-golden body, topped by a small white head. Malty nose with some toffee and fruity hops. On the malty side in the flavor too, with a nice fruity touch to it, and a little cellar note in the middle. The finish has a balanced malty and fruity flavor, but is lacking some bitterness I think. Rather thin body. Would go down easily on a drinking session, and it’s quite quenching too. (080301)

[i] [b] Bottle picked up farm shop somewhere between Hereford and Loz’s sister’s at Winforton, had this 04-04-08[/i] [/b] Poured clear golden the clarity was exceptional, nice white bubbly head. Simple light malt some citrusy fruitiness, soft in the mouth with honey also detected. Fine enough.

Cask @ Jan Primus. Clear golden color, medium white head. Aroma of hop, bit floral, some malt, bit grass. Crisp malty taste, slight bitter. Nice bitter aftertaste. Decent stuff.
