Cask at the Ledger Building, JDW - Canary Wharf, London. Pours clear red-brown with a tight, creamy beige head. Pretty tasty, some dark fruits mucking about, smooth chocolate, soft roast. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture; good nick. Semi-sweet finish, lightly earthy, more cocoa, dried fruits. Comes together well.

From Cask at The Barrel Vault (freakin’ spoons), 8 out of 10 beers served with a sparkler, at St Pancars International, London. Sweet aroma and taste of sweet pale malt, marmalade and biscuits. Well, well. Not everything can be saved by using sparklers. Very flat. Low bitterness.
