500ml bottle. Pours yellow with hints of orange and a huge foamy head. Grassy nose, intense. Good balance between malts and hops, although as a pale ale a bit less intense than I would wish it to be. Still a good demonstration of the hops of Yakima.

330ml bottle at Scotch Wine Bar, Blenheim. Floral nose. Pours clear amber, medium head. Unfortunately, the taste didn’t hold what the aroma promised: Slightly sweet, not much bitterness, still a bit floral and fresh though.

Pours gold with a quickly fading head.Nose shows fruity esters and farmhouse notes, soft spicy phenols, light sweet malt and banana.Flavours are less fruity and focus more on the dry, farmhouse characters. Some soft malt keeps things easy-going.

Pours clear amber, some foam that reduces fast. Aroma is dry, resiny, sticky. Stickily dry? Lots of citra, freshness, some dry tropical fruits. Aftertaste is somewhat sweet, resins and pine needles there too. Good, very American style, fresh and potent. Enjoyed this one a lot!

At a private tasting in Serbia with markoijelena and luttonm. "Pour it" orange skin, filtered (just a bit hazy) with a off white foamy head which leaves s lacing. Nose: pine resin. Mouth: oily feel of resin. Cool.

Golden orange with a white head. Powerful citra hop aroma, and that’s about it. Flavor is similar, screaming "all citra, all the time!" It does have a light and residual caramel malt sweetness, but it’s well hidden. This is a good brew however it needs more complexity. I’m honestly shocked at the 100 rating. I made a SMaSH home-brew with citra and it tasted pretty close to this (I am not saying I am on par with pro brewers). Fun, interesting, but not a go-to.

Bottle at Brew at Quay, Auckland, August 2014. Hazy golden with a medium white head. Fresh and hoppy with grapefruit, mango, grass and some cookies. The finish was dry and bitter. A tasty one.

Deep rich amber golden color. Little white head. Heavenly nose of citrus and tons of mangoes. Clean maltiness. Big, full body with hop explosion that jumps across the mouth to the back of the tongue. Very prickly, but plenty of malt to balance things out. Slightly boozy. Hops never leave the tongue and just sit front and center. Really well executed IIPA. Top notch stuff.

Bottle. Very dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma of bitter oranges, ash, coffee, dark fudge, some berries. Really luscious oaty texture, lowish carbonation. Sweet fudge and mocha, strong singed flavours, some oily citrus. Bitter chocolate finish. Intense flavours for 6%. Assertive burnt and ashy flavours but enough sweetness and lovely smooth texture make it work for me.
