8/2/2020. From cask at the Great British Winter Beer Festival, Birmingham. Pours clear dark bronze with a bubbly head. Aroma of caramel, malt, hops, fruit and bread. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation.

10/1/2020. Cask at the Cricketers, Ipswich. Pours clear dark gold with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, butterscotch, biscuit and butter. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation.

Hand-pulled pint in a Wetherspoon's pub on Mutley Plain, Plymouth; 2nd Nov 2019. Clear and clean golden body, white crown on top. Decent blend with a good malty base for the hops to play with. Pleasant easy drinking brew.

Clear, copper colored, small to no off white head. Malty, biscuit, toffee, moderate bitterness, dry finish, earthy and bit citrus hops, bit fruity. Lasting bitter aftertaste. Light+ bodied soft carbonation, bit watery.

Bottle from Happy Apple, Totnes. Low key coffee and berry aroma with a sour edge. Dark cola brown, a tad hazy A few mm of creamy light beige head. Light-medium sour. Coffee berries to the fore. Hints of creamy sweetness. Medium bodied. Creamy. Flat carbonation. Astringent finish. It's like they've watered down a Stout with cold brew coffee. Works but loses but end up with a thinner lightet Stout.
