Can from Sainsbury's online. It pours opaque black with a thick dark tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, charred pine, tarry, perfumed, fragrant, grapefruit, lime, cacao nibs and parma violets. The taste is dry, good big of bitterness which lingers... rich roasted malt, charred and toasty, big pine, spicy, toothy, rocky road, liquorice, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, bitter orange, streak of lime, dash of espresso, peppery spice and some alcohol with rich roasted finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Really impressed with this. Big and punchy. Reminds of BD libertine back in the day. Surprisingly good.

Can from Sainsbury's online. It pours hazy pale orange with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, zingy, orange blossom, orange marmalade white bread sandwiches, tangerine, floury bread and touch of greenness. The taste is dry, mellow bitterness, quite sweet actually, plenty of orangey fruits, tangerine, orange marmalade sandwiches, orange blossom, gummy bears, floury bread, bit of spice and some chalkiness with a drying, kind of green finish. Medium body and moderate fluffy carbonation. Quite like the aroma, but the taste is quite sweet and a touch chalky. Ok.

[44cl can from Lidl, Crowthorne.] A pale amber pour with a fast fading white head; musty aroma with a trace of tart fruit; tart rhubarb taste with some lemon and lime, but short lived, leaving a lager like body with a splash of lime. Ok in parts.

Can online from Beer 52. Pours light amber with a white cap. Aroma: sugary, sweet peach. Taste: moderate sweet & light bitter. A sickly sweet synthetic peach puree fuelled mess. Light to medium body with average carbonation. Are Drygate trying to impersonate Brewdog?

Can from Beer 52. Pours a clear golden amber with minimal, transient white head. After a while, peaches come through strongly in the aroma. In the mouth, the initial impression is strongly of traditional bitter hops, but again peaches come later. Finish is quite dry and bitter. Quite a simple straightforward beer – but rather nice.
