Cask @ Knights Templar, JDW, Chancery Lane WC2. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity fresh tart apple arome. Fruity tart apple flavor. Has a fruity dry tart apple finish.

From the box at Knights Templar. Tangy sour apple nose. Pastel yellow with a nice head. Sweet-and-sour flavor, lactic and a bit lambic like. Nice—a bit too sweet, but interesting and good.

Bottled. A light golden perry. The aroma is dominated by pears. The flavor is sweet with notes of pears, leading to a very slightly tart finish.

Originally rated November 2006. Purchased at the LCBO, my first pear cider. There was another William’s Sir Perry from the US, but this is not the one. This one from England, pours a clear very light yellow colour with the usual cider bubbly small head that disappears fast. The pear smell is mild, with a butternut aroma sticking out. Watery mouthfeel with a slight tart. The taste is not too sweet and does not have the metallic flavour that many ciders have. A little grainy with the pear juice taste. Quite nice and refreshing. A good alternative to apple ciders.

Cask @ Henglers Circus, JDW. Hazy light yellow, greenish colour, thin white head. Nose is slight sour apple, hint of vinegar. Flavour of green sour apples, a bit metallic. Slightly dry and sour finish.

500ml bottle. Pours light gold with low carbonation. Aroma is slightly woody pears. Taste has dry pears to start. Sweet pear finish. Thin and shirt in the mouth.
