Kind of like a rye cream ale, if such a category existed. Pours cloudy red with great head and lacing. Some rye aroma and light hops with mild bitterness and little personality other than a note of citrus. Not bad for session ale. Tap at brothers.

Not bad on initial nose for an IPA but the overall palate doesn’t do well as aftermath turns a little too astringent. Pours a nice cloudy amber with great creamy head and carpet lacing. The pillow of head disguises a good sense of hop aroma here though. Its too bad because initial aroma is this brew strong point. Some citrus here nonetheless, and a little malt. Finishes kind of sour and acrid. Tap at quinns.

Not very creamy at all for a cream ale. Whats the point in the first place? Pours golden clear without any head or lacing, especially for style. Pours and tastes like a lager. Finishes kind of sweet sour and with a sticky texture that stays with you like a molson Canadian hangover. Tap at quinns.

Random lager without much booze even. Not a huge product here. Pours golden clear lager like. Some barley evidence here, not much else. Finishes sweet and sour without even crispness of a the better lagers. Tap at Quinns.

Seems like some of these Ashtons are just miscategorized by the brewers. This would do ok as a harvest red or pale ale. It certainly osnt a brown in any sense of the word. Pours cloudy amber with good head and lacing. Would give it a higher appearance grade if it were right colour for style. Smells like citrus hops. Hop heavy. Not much of a malt profile. Tap at Quinns.

Very nice beer. Pours pitch black with carpet mocha lacing and a pillow of head. Aroma of vanilla, some nut but vanilla overtakes most roast malt, etc. Very soft carbonation here. Stout in the Irish sense. Finishes with light bitterness. Nice. Tap at Black Tomato.

Pale ale-like pumpkin beer. Pours cloudy golden without much head or lacing. Smells like gourd and malt. Finishes a little sour and a little tangy. Average carbonation. Tap.

A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, light grainy malt with smooth pumpkin spices, cinnamon hearts, OK. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with loads of pumpkin spices, cloves and cinnamon, actually pleasant. On tap at Arrow and Loon.

Very nicely hopped amber. Pours dark amber without much head or lacing. Some sharp grapefruit hops on head here with a good malt base. Almost tastes more like a good session pale ale. Tap at pattys.

5%. An amber Bock with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, mineral notes, so-so. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with grassy notes, German hops, mineral notes, more like a marzen. On tap at Arrow and Loon.
