Very nice. Definitely the best IPA Ashton has brewed so far. Nice fresh fruity aroma with grapefruit, grape and some apple even. Lots of nice hops, some crisp barley and a little creaminess in texture. Medium bitter finish. Orange pour with good head and lacing. Tap at Quinn’s.

Pretty decent porter. Pours black with decent head and lacing. Aroma of light coffee and roast malt, with some hints of caramel without being overdone. Thick, creamy texture. Finishes with light sweetness and bitterness, in good balance. Like this but probably still prefer the Vanilla Stout by a smidgeon. Tap at Quinn’s.

Pours a hazy copper colour with a beige head, mid-creamy, topping the brew, but not much lace is left. Fruity nose with roasted malts, caramel and grassy hop notes. Oh wow !! Quite hoppy for an Ashton beer, adding some good bitterness. Blending caramel malts with some fruity hints. Mild rye lingers with a slight dry finish. Pretty interesting hoppy rye grain ale.

Pours a slight hazed golden colour with a white creamy head, average retention and decent lacing. Aromas of cinnamon with orange notes. Mild spicy taste (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger) with some light grain that lingers. Hints of soapy hops in the finish. A nice milder version of a Christmas Ale that goes down nicely, but nothing too crazy. Good for beginners, for the style.
