Flight @ The Old English Pub, Gananoque. Aroma is citrusy, piney and resinous. Pours clear golden color with large soapy off-white head and good lacing. Taste starts refreshing citrusy and herbal with solid malty backbone and moderate bitter finish. Light body, slick texture and average
carbonation in palate. Chewy IPA…

0.473l can from Foodland Eganville. Aroma of caramel, roasted malt, dried fruit and grass. Pours clear amber brown color with medium sized soapy tan-like head and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts medium sweet caramelly and bready, following is dried fruity, grassy and nutty, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, oily texture and soft carbonation in palate. Cheap, but good…

This porter poured a very deep red colour with a creamy , tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include coffee, roasted malt, little smoke and wine, and a hint of cocoa. First swig was pretty good. Flavours of burnt toast, coffee, cocoa, smoke and a little cardboard. Finish is really roasted malt with coffee flavours lingering.

A fluffy tan head n a near black body. The nose has elements of malt and grassy hops. A really tasty BIPA. The taste profile features mild chocolate, a solid hop presence, roasted malt, a touch of Belgian yeast, and a slight nuttiness. A solid body and a clean finish.

Growler from the brewery. Dark gold color with a small white head. Ever so slightly pine aroma amongst alot of pale malts, and so buttery diacetyl. Good mouth feel and carb. Finish is medium bitter, with more butter, and some more light pine notes. Not very interesting.

Growler from the brewery. Golden pour, small white head. Light grassy hops, with some subtle cardamon, and cinnamon. Thin mouth feel, good carb. The finish is peppery with some good spicing. Lots of baking spices, but they aren’t over powering. Decent.

Clear dark copper with a large off white head that produces tight lace. Nose has caramel malts with some light grass. Flavour follows with a light+ sweetness and a light+ grassy bitterness. Medium creamy mouth with average carbonation.

A reddish brown ale with a thick frothy lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with light grassy hops, light cinnamon, light mineral notes, pleasant. On tap at Cheshire Cat.
