Slightly hazy amber colour with a small beige head and decent lacing. Fruity malts (berries, peach, apples), honey and soapy hops. Grainy and fruity malts again in the taste with some typical Ashton hops. Light roasted malt lingers. Decent wet mouthfeel with some nice dryness in the finish. Not sure this is a Maibock, but it is a real good refreshing one. Fruity and well balanced hops and malts.

Pours a quite hazy amber colour with a small beige head, not much retention and lacing. Nice sweet nose with caramel and fruits, like oranges. Again, a nice fruit marmalade taste with a grassy bitter finish. A nice medium dry mouthfeel. One of my favorite beers from Ashton so far. Very nicely brewed.

Enjoyed at the Arrow & the Loon. Pours a very slight hazy golden colour with a white head, average retention and minimal lacing. Flavours of berries with the typical Ashton grain in the finish. The berries are much milder in the smell, but present. Refreshing and crisp mouthfeel. A nice fruity beer where the berries are well-blended.

On tap at the Ottawa Beerfest. It is pitch black with  a thick tan head. It is made with vanilla beans soaked in bourbon which gives it a soft vanilla + cocoa nose. The taste is roasty oak, vanilla, toasty, chocolate, smooth bodied & exceptionally balanced. A stand out of my second day at the Ottawa beerfest.

On tap at the Ottawa Beerfest. A clear light copper pour. A lightly hoppy and breakfast  cereal aroma. The taste is a clean bitter hoppiness with citrus & pine that is nice balanced with a solid malt backbone. A zesty medium body with a healthy dose of caramel. Ashton brewery are solid making well balanced beers.
