Bottle 108/110 at RBWG. Pours clear ruby. Nose holds a hefty dose of dry cherries and herbs. Big sweet flavor, lots of tart cherries, rich sugars, dry honey, touches of wood. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Fairly dry to finish while still, warming and sweet, further lightly tangy cherries. Not at all cloying and impressively dry for a mead. Even has some bitter cherry pits. Delicious stuff. Glad I got to try it.

Tap at Dexters. Deep purple red. Big berry aroma. Mellow and quite drinkable, some honey tones. Not much to compare it to, sort of like a quality mad dog 20/20.

Pours clear green-tinged yellow into a snifter. A few bubbles hug the rim. Green apple, honey and sour urine aromas. Perfume, sour apples and bitter honey upfront give way to a twig and earth lasting bitter finish. Nasty.

If this is a mead, I’m a beer expert, heheh. On tap at the vintage estate, nice eye candy. Let me tell you, I’d like to get a bottle of this, the tap was so much better than expected, seriously a really good sweet "beer". Very clear and bubbly, like soda water, makes it very interesting. Sweet fromthe start but never cloying, jsut the right amount of mead eprsonality on a bubbly base. As session cintinues it becomes friendly fun easyu nice, yes, this is a real good session that I nerver expected. If you like lindemans and sweet mead, try this stuff out. Loverly, no really. Yum, IPA its not. Barely any co2. wnt more of this, its gone, bullshit. I f you are thinking about a mead, youy may be dissapointed, its mead flavored beer, which makes it rather watery compared to mead. Very happy I got to try this. Thanks vintage! YUMMY!

Bottle from batch 0730410. Pours with a still and clear straw yellow hued body with massive legs. Aromas are of complex yet subtle oak lactones, light zesty orange, candied and ripe pear, rich honey and a light nutty toasty quality. Elegant. Subtle, floral with some peppery alcohol. Flavors are sweet, vinous and nicely balanced by a floral and earthy tannin and lactone. Floral, medium vanillins. Balanced acidity and alcohol. Somewhat subtle, but the overall balance of flavors is superb. Rich and mellow honey, toasted oak and light citrus. Fuller and velvety body. Excellent.

Bottle thanks to Kyle! Pours a near clear pale gold with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a nice sweet honey note with a nice rye whiskey backing and a hint of light free. Flavor has a real nice combination rye barrel and sweet honey and just a touch of light fruit.

Bottle from a trade over a year ago. $22.99 price tag for a 375ml. Pours with a clear golden yellow hue. Still massive, strongly etched legs. Lightly musty and corky aroma with citrus, and dry champagne notes with citrusy tangerine, tropical fruit, muscatel and grapefruit. Some tangelo and white wine. Beautiful esters. Light mineral. Medium sweet mead. Slightly distracting Concord grape flavor. Citrusy, tropical fruit, melon, alcohol heat, Gewurtz and grassy hops. Medium to full sweet with a surprisingly good balance of alcohol, subdued acid and hop character. Quite interesting. Zesty. I was planning on sharing this I while ago, and although its been kept cold, I wonder how the hop flavor has evolved. Quite an elegant and unique taste. Mild menthol finish. Still, medium-full bodied, mildly bitter finish (grapefruit pith) and a touch warming

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a good amount of sweet honey with a hint of plum and a hint of underlying alcohol. Flavor is similar with sweet honey and plum up front with backing warming alcohol.
