Aroma: This one has a super sweet nose of honey, apple, and some other fruits
Appearance: This one pours a clear golden-orange color with no head or lace at all
Flavor: The flavor is super sweet too, pretty much exactly what you'd expect from the nose
Palate: The body is light-medium, it is almost cloyingly sweet, and has a fairly soft carbonation
Overall Impression: There's some interesting components here, but overall, it a mead, and its too sweet. Still though, this is pretty good for the style, and even though it may not be something I'd want to drink a ton of, I respect what they were trying to do with this one.

Bottle @ Chriso. Pours a clear golden pale amber color with no head. has a strong cold coffee aroma with spicy honey hints. Sweetish spicy honey and coffee flavor. Has a sweetish spicy coffee and honey finish.

Pours very pale yellow color withthin white head. Aromas of grapefruit and pine. Tastes like a hoppy mead. Unfortunately those flavors don’t mix very well. Sweet honey, apple flavor with bitter grapefruit rind and pine. Medium body with syrupy mouthfeel. Definitely not on par with their usually very nice meads.

Bottle at home in London (left over from a Chriso tasting). Pours perfectly clear golden brown. Aroma holds lots of coffee, somewhat like the filtered variety, with definite notes of honey poking through, suggestions of alcohol and cocoa. Big sweet flavor, lots of alcohol, slick honey, coffee more in the background now, some charred wood, apples. Full bodied with an oily mouthfeel. Warm to hot on the finish, some stewed fruits, apple, pear, more honey, some lightly bitter coffee, cacoa, alcohol, faint dry wood. An interesting mead variation that works on some levels, though not on all. (3.6)
Bottle at a ChrisO Tasting - London. Pours clear, rich gold. Nose holds a bit of tangy coffee. Big, sweet and sugary, less coffee in the flavor than in the aroma. Full bodied, oily, with soft carbonation. Good honey character, some touches of bitter coffee. Nice stuff. (3.7)

Bottle at Chriso tasting, thanks Leighton, 18/11/12. Slightly obscured mid amber with no head. Nose is big on espresso coffee, light burnt tones, tirimasu, all coffee tbh! Taste comprises espresso coffee, a little walnut, toffee fudge, tirimasu flavoured licqeur. Full bodied with no carbonation, smooth on the palate, sweet coffee finish. Lay a good coffee beat to any track and I’ll enjoy it!

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with just a hint of visable carbonation. Aroma has light spice and light hops with a nice sweet honey with a hint dryness. Flavor starts with spice and sweet honey that grows and becomes more bitter with a hint of booze.

37.5 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with no head. Aroma is solid coffee and light honey. Sweet, toffee caramelish, coffee herbal and sweet honey. Herbal coffee into a mellow fruity honey finish.
