Description
After a great reception from his hobby as an enthusiastic amateur brewer, Toby Mackenzie and his wife Caroline decided to expand and go full time establishing the award winning Red Willow brewery in 2010. Their aim was to make the types of beer that they like - full of flavour yet easy to drink. Red Willow now offer a range of beers that can be found in many local pubs and shops in cask

Aroma: Peachy and floral with caramel notes.

Appearance: Hazy golden body with fairly sizeable yeast flecks floating around. Massive white head that holds really well. Lively carbonation. Excellent lacing.

Taste: Nice balance between caramel and citrus flavours. Tastes a little soapy with bitter, unripe pear notes.

Palate: Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation.

Overall: Definitely doesn’t live up to its name - the head on this was huge! It’s hoppy but the citrus flavours taste unripe rather than punchy and juicy.
