Off white head left a spotty cover on a slowly carbonating golden coloured body. Sweet malt, light hops & fruited aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & nicely carbonated in the back. Sweet fruit, grain, lightly hopped & shandy tastes with a tangy citrus finish Really tasty.

Pours a clear amber colour with a tiny loose head. The aroma is light malts, caramel and a hint of biscuit. A moderately sweet malty taste, sweet toasty malts, caramel, and light citrus flavours and a moderate bitterness.

Bottle from Bowland Brewery shop. Appearance - deep brown to acknowledge and opaque. Creamy off white head. Nose - bran flakes, chocolate, an edge of liquorice and light roast. Taste - smoke, with an edge of liquorice again. Dark chocolate lurking. Palate - medium bodied with a roasty finish. Overall - good.

Bottle from Bowland Brewery shop. Appearance - golden amber with a nicely proportioned off white head. Nose - toffee, orange and biscuit. Taste - bready and cakey. Yippee mainly apart from that. Palate - light to medium bodied. Fairly dry finish. Overall - decent, more a bitter than a golden ale.

66cl bottle from the Bowland Brewery shop. Appearance - golden and clear with a nicely proportioned snow white head. Nose - delicate pale malt and citrus. Taste - again delicate and almost elusive. Malt and lemon and clean, almost watery. Palate - light bodied, clean delicate finish. Overall - hood lager, would say more Helles than Pilsner.

Creamy tan head stayed on a reddish brown still body. Hoppy, spiced & toffee aroma. Medium bodied, creamy with a sharp back. Bitter, hoppy, spiced, berries & toffee tastes with a long tangy finish. Tastes like a Hoppy Red Ale.
