From the green brewery. Oh my, this is great pouring beers that are hazy with sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Beautiful swirling pour, but this beer is not actually white or witlike, Darker hazy off white with very little yellow and brown. Head forms then quickly diminishes. Slight sweet alky and wet hay aroma with background spiciness. Has a medium body with a creamy carbonation. Taste is wheatlike, some spiciness and not sweet. A short bitterness lands on the back of the tongue. Mild metallic flavors set in with the end of each swallow. A little outgoing for a session brew, think twice. Overall, was an average wheat beer but I was expecting a little more manners for the style. Can’t hold a candle to hoegaarden. A little unrefined.

22 oz bomber gifted to me by Jon (Willblake) via Paul (Dickinsonbeer), big thanks to both great guys. Poured into a small tulip glass. Color is amber, clear beer but just dark enough to make a medium clarity, small head. Aroma is strong and I want to compare it to Heavyweight Jåkeldrickå, very similar but a bit more commercial. Aromas of sour slightly aged maltiness (soured light cardboard), a lightly acidic berry (maybe juniper?), a bit sweet and sour and very original. Taste is similar where the sweet maltiness really offsets the other unordinary aspects of the beer. Body is full yet light, one downside is the mouthfeel is a bit weird, makes my cheeks dry and weird. Finishes light and actually very drinkable.

Let me thank jjpm74 for the chance to taste this beer. The feel of this beer is rich thick and malty. As bitter as it’s namesake with low creamy carbonation. It looks like a darker iced tea. Has a white ring around the inside of the glass for a head. Not very hazy. Overall, when compared to the other ESB; not as refined, sweet or happy as Wychwood Hobgoblin. On par with East End Session #6 - The Bitter End and Whitbread. Malty and bitter with a slight bite or tartness that cannot be described, very complex. Finish is an interesting combination of hops, grapefruit rinds and malty alcohol, lingering long and impersonating. The aroma of this stuff morphs from a sweet strong ale to a hardtack candy.

OK, another beer from those green people Otter Creek. Beautiful swirling appearance when you pour this properly into your glass. We have the gunk on the bottom of the bottle to thank for that. This is one lazy golden spinning tempest of aesthetic pleasure. Initially has some hint of soap on the palate. Good clean aroma that is refined and royal, tho sparse. Some initial alcohol bite, provides a slight bitter nip. Flavor gets better as you continue to drink. Good creamy carbonation. The bitterness does not decrease, it just becomes more acceptable. Belgian white is a difficult style to live up to. A little better than Samuel Adams White Ale but not as good as wttekirke, pax and good old hoegaarden. Finish is very acceptable but disciplined mildly, with a hint of alky bitterness.

Big offwhite slightly coarse head. Amber body. Sweetish medicinal caramel aroma of dry straw and apples. Dry-sweet medicinal caramel taste, slightly watery. Fades into bitterish medicinal caramel. Quite good. (0.355l bottle.)

Tea and yeast aroma. Golden color, thin orangish head. Orange peel taste with faint traces of yeast. Grassy finish. Rather simple and at times tastes more like hop flavored seltzer than beer.

The aroma is primarily coffee, backed by some darkly roasted malt. Opaque brown/black color with an off-white head that filmed, but laced at the edges of the film. Medium bodied; moderately carbonated. Thins as the carbonation leaves, but it touches on creamy, and the coffee will not quit. There is light sweetness accompanied by dark roasted malt, and there is enough bitter hop to balance the whole. It’s the best porter I can recall - but my organic database is hard to call up. At this moment all I can say is that it is really very good. Really.

Caramel, hops, and light smoke on the nose. Clear reddish brown pour with a brown head and nice lacing. Tastes rather mediocre, but balanced with charcoal and hop notes. Average finish of smoke and hops. Enjoyable with not much of a wow factor.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a creamy looking white head. Aroma is lots of corriander with some citrus and spice. Flavor is about the same. Some corriander and spice with a touch of the yeast and some citrus. A pretty decent rep of the style.

Pour was a orange with a white head. Aroma is a little fruity and butterscotch with a touch of hops. Flavor has a touch of dry hops and very light on the malts. Not really a good example of the style. IPA for beginners.
