(bottle, from bierkoning) Hazy reddish amber colour with a big foamy beige head. Yeasty sweet malty aroma with caramel and candy. Sweet flavour, medium body, lively carbonation. Sugary sweet malty taste with roasted notes, caramel and liquorice. Unsatisfying sweetbitter and rather slim finish.

(bottle) Hazy pinkish body with a big foamy pink head. Artificially sugary sweet raspberry aroma. Sweet artificial raspberry taste with a soapy and perfumed finish. Never again.

Very dark brown colour with a thick, light brown head. Figgy, brown bready and raisiny aroma. Sweet flavour with demerara, almond, hazelnut notes. Very rich, dessert-like it its dark malt character, with light fruit and a tiny bit of alcohol showing through in the finish. But it doesn’t really provide balance. This is a malt-lovers’ beer, plain and simple.

Light, hazy, tan colour. Thick, rocky head. Aroma shows peaches, banana, and biscuits. Flavour is yeasty and dry with candy bananas, peaches, pear syrup and biscuity influences. A very slight hint of alcohol and whisper of continental hop rounds out this unpretentious, well-balanced ale.

Bottle, BBE September 21st, 2007 Blond, clear body with a white, creamy head, which lasts mostly. Nose of hops and hints of light malts. Lightly to medium bodied. Moderately sweet, lightly bitter initial flavour. Moderately bitter, very lightly sweet finish. Lively carbonation. Somewhat watery but still a quite good balance in the flavour. Enjoyable beer with some bitterness.

Bottle, thanks Chris! Pours dirty golden with a small white head. Aroma of dried flowers, vinegar, slight barnyard, slight butterscotch. Flavorful! Mmm... Slight butterscotch again, with a very nice sour apple finish... tiny hints of a vinegar in there- but not a disturbing amount. I enjoy this one quite a bit... I’d have to be in the mood to drink it- but I’m sure I’ll revisit this one in the near future.

Gatorade pop pink beer with a thin white head. Sharp raspberry concentrate, almost like crystals. Horrible chemical taste, way too sweet. Barely cant taste anything else. Blahhh! Bought at Metro, Brussels, late april 2005.
