Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, consumed at home had this Tuesday 28th March 2023. Pours mid gold, decent clarity, white head. Slight maltiness on the nose. Sweet in the mouth, not a lot going on here, malty and sweet are the main things to report.

Bottle. Brownish black. Chestnut, caramel, bread with cold butter, sweet. Sweet malty bread. Not bad, but a bit onesided, flat, and sweet sticky.

Appearance: Clear pale gold with a large white frothy head of medium retention. Aroma: Dominant clean grain. Additional herbs and fruits. Taste: Light sweet and bitter, Clean. Good malt & hop. Solid maltiness. Additional fruity notes. Hoppy ending. Mouth feel: Medium plus body, average carbonation. Summary: Decent. Very pure fermentation.

Appearance: cloudy deep amber with a decent beige head. Aroma and taste: wheat bread, banana, caramel, fruity and spicy yeast, some hop. Light swet and bitter. Mouth feel: light to medium body, average carbonation. Summary: not bad at all.

Helle, klare, goldene Farbe. Geruch getreidig, blumig. Geschmacklich treffen herb/trockene Getreidenoten auf süße Blumen- und Fruchtnoten. Hopfung klar erkennbar - bleibt aber im Rahmen dessen was man von einem bayerischen Hellen gewohnt ist. Substanz etwas gehaltvoller als die 5,1 % Alk. erwarten lassen würden. Sehr klassisches Helles. Vielleicht einen Hauch zu süß. Trotzdem recht anständig.
