Bottle in our tent at Cap Fréhel camping from Super U. Sweet apples, a good amount of bitter apples, dry apple peel, soft tart pear and apple. Medium amount of tannins, soft moss and bark. Almost medium sweet and bitter, light tart. Medium bodied, almost medium dry. Pretty decent cider, not in a farmhouse style but nice apple notes.

Plastic bottle sampled at Binic Folks Blues festival. Sweet apple juice, soft fermentation notes, dry apple feel, light mineral and earthy notes. Just medium sweet, light bitter and tart. Almost medium bodied, bit watery. Fair.

Honey coloured body with a thinnish, single to perhaps two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of hay, yeast, alcohol, malt and a heavy dose of cereal noticeable towards the end. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong nutty and malty flavours dominate with a good deal of residual sweetness and some floral and herbal notes that show through with the alcohol by far the strongest, but a slight less full-bodied and rich bite at the very end. Aftertaste shows the grainy and sweet notes first and foremost with some nutty and biscuity bites and the slightest bit of hops and bitterness noticeable at the very end, but this is quite deep and pungent overall. Overall, a strong and deep beer that shows a lot of characteristics, but has a lot of alcohol and punch, yet is slightly easier to drink than it's 10% cousin, sampled just before this one by me. I sampled this 50 cL can purchased from Super U, Are, in PaoPao, Mo'orea, French Polynesia on 27-July-2019 for XPF370 while taking care of my three kids while walking back to my hotel in the Tropical Winter of French Polynesia.

Deep copper and light amber coloured body with a thick raw honey glow and a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of honey, caster sugar, yeast, light biscuity malt and a dash of flowers, but more alcohol than anything else - this smells quite strong. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich malt and alcohol bite at first with a lot of punch and strong grainy finish with some flowers and fruits noticeable, but this is largely a malt and alcohol presence throughout that shows through. Aftertaste shows some sugars from the honey and caster sugar, but again, the malt and alcohol are the strongest by far - quite strong and long-lasting, but not as bad as it could have been or quite frankly - as bad as I thought it was going to be. Overall, a strong beer, and definitely shows the 10,0% abv, but isn't as bad as others I've had from this category. I sampled this 50 cL can, purchased from Super U, Are, in PaoPao, Mo'orea, French Polynesia on 27-July-2019 for XPF420, sampled in the beautiful weather of the South Pacific in the middle of winter!
