Dull amber, no head. The aroma has pumpkin, nutmeg, and it seems like it'�ll be tart. On the palate, it'�s tart, with vanilla, mild spice, some caramelized pumpkin (I guess brown sugar + pumpkin). The tartness is balanced off by a fair bit of sugar. I give it a second pour and receive a truly remarkable amount of sludge. But overall, this isn'�t bad. On paper, it'�s one of the more egregious things I'�ve had in a while, but in the glass it seems perfectly reasonable. That'�s a big win for Small Pony.

Poured from 473mL can (thanks Nico). Hazed orange with minimal white head. Aroma has a hint of nail polish. Taste is better, still fairly acidic, touch of oak, rose hips and hibiscus in the background. If the sourness was toned down, would enjoy it more, but okay. It does grow on you as it warms up, sip slow.

Poured from 375mL bottle (2019 vintage; 2019-11-04 stamp). Clear auburn with small off white head. Aroma is vinegar and cherries. Taste has good hit of acidity to it, feint balsamic notes with underlying cherry. Decent.

Sample (2020. thanks fonefan). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, some fudge, mild floral, some rosehip and pineapple tones. Flavour is pineapple juice, some dry wooden tones with mild caramel tones.

A deep dark rosey purple ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with cherry Certs, Epsom salts, light acidity, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity mix cherry pie, light tropical fruits, light acidic notes, Epsom salts et pleasant. Can from brewery.
