Cask at EBF April 23. Aroma is malty with a berry edge. Murky brown. Frothy beige head. Big and fruity with a tangy and salted caramel streak. Light liquorice. Light-medium bodied. Slick if thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long sour finish. I like but a Mild?

1/3 pint, gravicask shared with Finn at GBBF Winter '23. Close-to-clear golden body, dotted spots on the glass, filmy layer. Yeasty fruitiness on the nose, spiced. Spiced citrus flavours, together with a farmyard twist. Rounded yeasty fruitiness to the ending, mid-dry. Fine depth. Pleasing to a certain degree. (Burton upon Trent 16.02.2023).
