Description
We offer a full range of tasty beers, from dark and mysterious stouts and porters through to lagers and hoppy pales. But our true passion is for heritage beers, which is why our core range comprises beers based on nineteenth century recipes and tasting notes. We have also branched out into spirits, creating our Limited Edition Hopped Gin in 2019.

Cask at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard. Black pour with a tan head. That's a nice nose - can smell it a fair few inches away - lots of maple, toffee, caramel, creamy coffee. Chocolate caramel, brown sugar, vanilla fudge, maple, creamy coffee flavours. Sweet malty tastiness. A very nice brew.

Cask at Egham Easter 24. Aroma is citrusy with canned fruit. Clear gold. Thin white head skims the surface. Medium bitter. Sour edge before some sweetness comes in. Ie fruit followed by canned fruit. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Nice enough.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish, golden colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, fruity aroma, notes of pineapple, minimally funky background. Taste is tart, slightly tangy, funky, minimally fruity, hints of woody pineapple. Watery texture, slightly astringent palate, medium to fine, dense, prickly carbonation. Rather simple and monotonous - so-so.

Cask by stillage at One Inn The Wood, Petts Wood on 23rd February 2024. Coppery amber with almost no foam or lace. Pungent malts and tangy fruits in aroma. Sweet berry fruits and caramel malt in-mouth, and a finish reflecting the two. Light bodied with a smooth if not somewhat flat mouthfeel.
