Description
We offer a full range of tasty beers, from dark and mysterious stouts and porters through to lagers and hoppy pales. But our true passion is for heritage beers, which is why our core range comprises beers based on nineteenth century recipes and tasting notes. We have also branched out into spirits, creating our Limited Edition Hopped Gin in 2019.

Gravicask, half, 7.1 % abv, shared with Finn at St Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2023. Near-black in the glass, off-white head, poor lacing. Subdued smell of mid-sweet grainy malts added by dried fruits. Hints of dark chocolate to the taste buds, added by a sourish note. Noticeable alcohol. Okay, not in its best condition though. (St Albans, 27.09.2023).

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Almost clear amber brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth palate, fairly dry, modest fine carbonation. Aged tasting malts. Caramel and papery malts. Modest chocolate. Light dry finish. Tastes like one of the jubilee rot boxers from 46 years ago, but not as good..
