About
Foam. It's always been an unconscious calling like drifting into a cumulus cloud bank on a sun-drenched day, or collapsing in a frothy curl of a breaking wave. Foam; it's natural beauty that rises up and is here and gone in a moment in time. I have spent my working life in foam, beer foam that is, brewing beer, conjuring up mixtures of malt and hops to ferment into a crowning moment of beer. Great beer has always sat under foam. Foam. It's not one ingredient that gives stability; it's many interwoven to create a structure of strength pouring out visual excitement. As I sit for a time, I enjoy that moment. All that remains is the lacing that adorns the empty glass and the making of a great memory. Until next time, see you under the Foam...

Appearance: pale orange/yellow-ed cardboard haziness with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: melon hoppy sweetness, some passion fruit tang, mangoes? Yeah, I think so and for once I actually smell the salt
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet quality with the salt rising to blend more so than I initially thought; finishes slightly melon-like, a touch of passion fruit and good salt hints
Texture: light to medium bodied; leaning towards being a sipper; some smoothness but some salt stains seem to nip a wee little bit on the tongue - nothing overbearing
Overall: pretty nicely done salted IPA worth coming back to as I didn't get as much "sour" if any at all to this beer.

Aroma: pineapple, mango and some white grapes hop notes; light lemon hop tones underneath that then some clean malts
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet semi-juicy bitter to bittersweet tones; finishes leaning into some mango and pineapple hop notes
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; pretty smooth along the tongue with a subtle nick or two of hop bitterness assertiveness; medium to low carb
Overall: not a bad NEPA, maybe I could return to.

Appearance: thick bright yellow haziness with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: tangerine sweetness, grapefruity and lemony bittersweet hops; light playful malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet juicy to bittersweet juicy quality; finishes juicy sweet and lots of juice to this
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; very smooth along the tongue; very low carb and very low hop bitterness almost to the point I was second guessing if I was drinking beer or orange juice
Overall: though the carb was so low and the hop bitterness there was some slightly discernible tones of a beer in here.

Appearance: thick red to subtle purple hued color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely but barely left any lace
Aroma: raspberry sweet and tart character with a light funky tone then a subtle watermelon note
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a tart and sweet character but leaves out the watermelon note; finishes raspberry sweet and tart with a sly funk in there
Texture: medium bodied, good sessionability; some smoothness but light notes of tart punches to the tongue - nothing overbearing
Overall: nicely done raspberry tart ale worth coming back to.

Pint can. Grainy malt aroma with notes of straw, pear, grassy hops and some toasted malt. Pours clear, pale golden colored with a finger of white head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with grainy malt, toasted malt and pear flavors. Finishes crisp and refreshing with straw and grassy hop flavors. Excellent pils.

Opened the can and a little bit of a gusher but not too much and I thought something may have happened to the nitro widget in the can but maybe the can got jostled around by my own doing or perhaps shipment from the brewery to Winooski Bevy. Anyways, well, here's the rest:
Appearance: the nice beautiful cascading of the dark brown/black down into the the mid section the semi-muddy brown level and I watched it intertwine until nothing but black was seen in the glass with the soft camel khaki color-ed two finger head sat on top of the glass for what seemed like forever
Aroma: soft sweet creamy caramel/toffee to sweet coffee and roasted malts roll into a wonderful dark chocolatey toned vibe with some cake/baked/doughy clean sweetness
Flavor: pretty much copies the aromas in a fine sweet to roasted creaminess; finishes very creamy with some roasty nutty to coffee tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; very smooth with such a soft creamy note to it; very heavenly in the feel
Overall: what a wonderful Irish dry stout from a nitro can. I would have this again.

Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness with a pinch of dryness - nothing overly done
Overall: might not be a real NEDIPA but it's not totally obnoxiously bad - just needs to be reclassified from the brewers (slight hard stare at Fidens and Foam), eh but whatever, I guess.
