Description
La Brasserie Artisanale BENELUX a été fondé en 2006, sur la rue Sherbrooke près de ce qui allait devenir le Quartier des Spectacles à Montréal.
Une deuxième succursale Brasserie Artisanale BENELUX a ensuite ouvert sur la rue Wellington à Verdun en 2013, devenant le premier bar et brasserie de cet arrondissement en 140 ans.
Un autre petit site de production a ouvert peu après dans Pointe-St-Charles (3810 rue St-Patrick, dans les anciens locaux de Brasseurs Sans Gluten) sous le nom de "Brasserie du Canal" et servait à complémer l'offre des deux succursales ainsi que de produire quelques produits embouteillés pour la vente extérieure.
La Brasserie du Canal a depuis été déménagée dans leur nouvelle Microbrasserie BENELUX à Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (anciens locaux de Lagabière) où l'encannettage de leurs produits est effectuée depuis sous le nom BENELUX - Bières & Pubs.

A deep dark brown porter with a thick moka head. In aroma, good coffee, milk chocolate, herbaceous. In mouth, a nice little porter with nutty notes, acidic points, quite decent. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, Feb. 22 2010.

A hazy orange amber saison with a thin lacing white head. A classy smooth spiced aroma of fruity esters, light bananas and orange peels. In mouth, a light smooth saison with rye notes, grainy, light curacao. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, Jan. 16 2010.

A reddish amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, light vinous malt with dark fruits notes, British hops, treacle. In mouth, a classy barley wine with floral hops, warming alcohol and citrus pulp. rich and smooth. On tap at brewpub, Dec. 5 2009, No Habs no. 7-3-8-3-14.

A reddish copper ale with a thick frothy moka head. In aroma, loads of citrus, treacle, vinous notes, raisins, quite superb. In mouth, a nice barley wine, smooth, with pinhey hops, grapefruits, viscous oily malts, more like a DIPA, but good. On tap at brewpub, Nov. 5 2010 8-4-8-4-15

A golden amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, strong grainy malt and mashed peas. In mouth, a light biscuitty malt with clean hops, a bit of vegetal notes, not bad, but boring. On tap at brewpub, Dec. 5 2009, No Habs no.

A blonde ale with a thin white lacing head. A very nice aroma of herbs, grape, white wine, very good and pleasaing. In mouth, a nice refreshing saison with light white grapes, herbs, smooth and quaffable. On tap at Benelux, Nov. 20 2009.

A beautiful reddish with a thin lacing off white head. A light smokey and oily aroma, with light smoked herring. In mouth, a lightly smoked lager, with more wooden notes, smoked beef, light lactic points, light and quaffable. On tap at brewpub Oct. 31 2009.
