A golden amber IPA with a thin lacing and creamy off white head. In aroma, pungeant floral hops, honey, pineapple, tropical fruits. In mouth, a good biscuitty malt, over funky hops, menthol, rather nice and smooth, lightly oily, Nelson Sauvin touches. Good. On tap at brewpub, 5th Anniversary, April 30th, 2011.

A lightly hazed dark amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, an intereesting mineral hops, Belgian herbs, grassy and notes. In mouth, an interesting peaty malt, burned wood, nutty malt, not bad. On tap at brewpub, 5th Anniversary party, April 30 th.

A hazed amber gueuze with no head. A nice smooth horseblanket aroma, with light mineral notes. In mouth, a rather weak example, watery, a bit of cork and Brett, buttery popcorn, quite sad...something went wrong here. On tap at brewpub, 5th Anniversary party, April 30 th.

A clear reddish brown with a thin moka head. In aroma, nice herbaceous malt with smooth vinous notes, wild grass, very pleasant. In mouth, a smooth malt with loads of frankincense, some white pepper, light sweetness, warming alcohol, molasses, treacle, quite nice. On tap at brewpub, 5th Anniversary party, April 30 th.

A blonde pils with a thin white head. A nice grassy malt aroma, with faint herbal hops, classic. In mouth, a crisp malt with light grainy character, light German hops, smooth and light verring on a lager. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, April 21, 2011.

Draft: Poured a light copper color ale with a small foamy head. Aroma of medium caramelized sugar is OK though not as complex as I would have hoped. Taste is dominated by some caramelized sugar with limited number of other characteristics (no notes of dry fruits or toffee were noticeable). Body is definitely a bit light for style with no apparent alcohol. Lacking complexity and not the best from this brewer.

Draft: Poured a beige color ale with a small foamy head with good retention. Aroma consists of light fruity ester and subtle peppery yeast with a semi sweet malt base. Taste is a bit disappointing (probably somewhat due to the fact that I had this right after their Ergot) with light peppery yeast notes and even subtler fruity ester with an OK malt backbone. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. OK but not as par as some of the staple of the style.

Draft: Poured a light hazy beige color ale with a medium size foamy head with light lacing notes. Aroma is nice complex mix between light fruity ester with indigenous yeast and some semi-sweet Belgian style malt notes. Taste is a nice mix between some lightly funky yeast with notes of fruity ester and a semi-sweet solid Belgian-style malt backbone with an herbal finish. Body is maybe a bit light for style with no apparent alcohol. Definitely one of the best beer I tried while I was there.
