Description
La Brasserie Artisanale BENELUX a été fondé en 2006, sur la rue Sherbrooke près de ce qui allait devenir le Quartier des Spectacles à Montréal.
Une deuxième succursale Brasserie Artisanale BENELUX a ensuite ouvert sur la rue Wellington à Verdun en 2013, devenant le premier bar et brasserie de cet arrondissement en 140 ans.
Un autre petit site de production a ouvert peu après dans Pointe-St-Charles (3810 rue St-Patrick, dans les anciens locaux de Brasseurs Sans Gluten) sous le nom de "Brasserie du Canal" et servait à complémer l'offre des deux succursales ainsi que de produire quelques produits embouteillés pour la vente extérieure.
La Brasserie du Canal a depuis été déménagée dans leur nouvelle Microbrasserie BENELUX à Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (anciens locaux de Lagabière) où l'encannettage de leurs produits est effectuée depuis sous le nom BENELUX - Bières & Pubs.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden amber to brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is toasted malty and breadish. Dry caramelish, light spiced and mild fruity. Bitter and subdued fruity finish.

From tap at the brewpub, Pours clear and golden amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is toasted caramelish and malty to breadish. Toasted and caramelish to toffee malty. Light bitter, toasted and caramelish finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity, light yeasty peppery. Subdued bitterness, light malty and estery. Dry, light phenolic and peppery finish.

A dark clear reddish brown porter with a thn brown head. In aroma, a sweet herbaceous chocolate with light powdery off notes. In mouth, a sweet molassey and dry porter with strange roasted and herbaceous notes, a bit burned, not bad but was expecting more. On tap at brewpub, Oct. 14 2011.

A nice copper amber IPA with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, a nice biscuitty malt with light resinous hops, floral, treacle, nice and smooth. In mouth, a rather green and resinous hops, very herbal and earthy, a bit lacking malt but good. On tap at brewpub, Oct. 14 2011.

A hazed blonde saison with a thick lacing white head. In aroma, a smooth herbaceous malt with light orange peels, grassy, a bit soapy. In mouth, a smooth crisp malt with nice herbal malt, light bubble gum, curacao, very nice. On tap at brewpub, Oct. 14 2011.

Glass, 5 ounces, during the 2011 Festibière de Québec, savoured on September 2 2011; eye: mahogany, clear, minimal effervescence, tiny ring of beige head; nose: malt, caramel, alcohol, spices, star anise, liquorice, brown sugar, light pepper, light hops, dark fruits; mouth: malt, caramel, alcohol, spices, alcohol warmth, light pepper, light hops, finale in malt with presence of smoked caramel, full body, below-average carbonation, mildly sweet, lightly sticky and alcoholic texture; overall: quite fine FRANÇAIS Verre, 5 onces, durant le Bières et saveurs de Chambly, savourée le 2 septembre 2011; œil : acajou, limpide, effervescence minime, petit anneau de mousse beige; nez : malt, caramel, alcool, épices, anis étoilé, réglisse, cassonade, léger poivre, léger houblon, fruits noirs; bouche : malt, caramel, alcool, épices, chaleur d’alcool, léger poivre, houblon discret, finale en malt avec présence de caramel fumé, corsée, carbonatation sous la moyenne, moyennement sucrée, texture légèrement collante et alcoolique; en résumé : bien bon
