Dégustée en fût sur place sous le nom « Benelux Bock ». De couleur brune-ambrée foncée et semi-voilée. Nez de malt moyennement rôti aux petites notes terreuses, léger-moyen fruité (léger de raisins, notes de prunes et d’agrumes), léger de houblon herbeux aux petites notes citriques avec des notes de noix et de caramel. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-fort et une texture légèrement crémeuse et aux petites notes huileuses. Léger goût fruité (notes de raisins, de prunes et d’agrumes) avec des petites notes épicées (poivre doux) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût de grains de malt moyennement rôti aux petites notes terreuses et un moyen-léger goût de caramel toffee puis en finale l’on retrouve une moyenne-légère amertume de houblon herbeux aux notes citriques et terreuses ainsi qu’un léger goût de noix. Post-goût moyen et aux notes sèches, moyennement amer de rôti, de houblon herbeux aux faibles notes citriques ainsi qu’un léger goût de noix et des notes fruitées (zest d’agrumes). (hiver 2006-07)

From tap at the brewpub. Pours almost clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity hoppy, grapefruity and citrusy. Bitter, grapefruity and citrusy. Dry and lingering fruity finish.
