Can from the brewery. Black pour, large brown head. Aroma is orange zest, cognac, fruit cake, and roasty, burnt malts. Mouth feel is silky, and full of a lively yet soft carb. Medium bitter, roast, burnt sugars, and more bready, sweet, fruit cake notes.

Bottle from the brewery. Jet black, medium brown head. One of the thickest beers I've ever seen. Literally, looked and had the consistency of old motor oil. Aroma is intense burnt sugar, soy, licorice and molasses. High bitterness, intense roast, alcohol is well hidden. Barrel. Notes impressive, very oaky, vanilla and wood are plentiful, but not over powering. Complex, and intense.

Cloudy orange, small white head. Peach flesh and soft rose water nose. Pale cereals, light funk, wet grass, grapefruit zest. Finish is a soft peach and rose water, wth light citrus and bits of funk..

Can from the brewery.
Hazy yellow pour, with a small white head. Aroma is lactic, ligth tartness, hints of citrus, but the mouth feel just falls flat. It's thin, really watery, and there is an odd tartness that I would compare to pickle juice going on in the finish. An odd tart kind of salinity. Not terrible, but a little odd.

Dark brown bordering on black pourz with a beige head. Aroma is Flemish red, balsamic vinegar, dark tart cherries and boozy fruity cake. Full mouth feel, soft carb. Medium bitter, medium tart, light funk, lots of vinegar cherries.

Aromas are citrusy, and quite light, grassy, maybe some melon. Mouth feel is super thin, and the carb is too tight. Finish is thin, and this is where the beer fall flat on its face. The finish is very dry, thin, and there is zero finish.

Hazy yellow, medium white head. Slightly dank, loads of citrus zest, and oils. Light stone fruit. Vibrant carb and mouth feel. Low to medium bitterness. Finish is herbaceous, with touches of mint and basil.
