0,5 l bottle from Zisch, Wildeshausen. Nearly black in the glass, foamy small one finger pale beige head. Smoked eel on the nose. Taste has also a lot of smoked eel, malty, little bit salty. Low bitterness. Low carbonated. Nice one!

Amber, hazy pour with a small, but lasting white head. Aromas and taste of malt, nuts some yeast and honey. Very sessionable and a lot better than the Braunbier.

Amber pour with a decent head; aroma is mainly malt and nuts. Taste fairly similar, but a bit thin. OK, but not really memorable.

Van de tap bij de brouwerij, als Maibock 7%. Iets mistig diepgouden kleur, witte kraag. Medium zoet, honing, mout, bloemig, grassig, goed bitter en strak, heel licht kruidig. Lichte tot medium body. Smaakvol.

Van het vat bij Klosterbräu. Donkerbruine tot zwarte kleur, beige kleur. Gebrande mout, caramel, licht moutig, er zit helaas ook een fors zuurtje in wat flink stoort, bittere finish. Lichte body. Niet in optimale conditie.

Van het vat bij Klosterbräu. Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Forse rookgeur, kampvuur, gebrande mout, romig, wat donker fruit, chocolade, goed bitter, meer rook, bittere finish. Lichte tot medium body. Erg lekker.
