(6/31/08) Draught at the brewpub in Bamberg. Deep golden color. Aroma of malt, some spiciness, caramel and some alcohol hints. Sweet caramelly flavor with some light toastiness and alcohol notes. Medium-bodied.

(6/31/08) Draught at the brewpub in Bamberg. Very dark brown to black color with a beige head. Aroma is quite roasty with some ice-coffee, caramel and some butterscotch. Roasty sweet flavor with some coffee with milk. Medium-bodied.

(6/31/08) Draught at the brewpub in Bamberg. Clear brown color. Aroma is quite toasty with some graininess and a bit of hops. Sweet flavor with malt, quite caramelly, with some unpleasant metallic feel in the finish. Medium-bodied. Quite unpleasant.

(6/31/08) Draught at the brewpub in Bamberg. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is quite hoppy with some bread notes. Slightly sweetish flavor, a bit vegetal, with some malt. Later dry and hoppy. Medium-bodied with lots of carbonation.

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a huge and dense blonde foamy head. Light-sweet, moderately yeasty and wheaty aroma with overripe citrus-fruits and light clovy phenols in the background. Light-sweet flavour with a tinge of acidity, light to medium bodied with a mellow mouthfeel. Wheaty and moderately fruity (citrus, light banana) taste; quite dry, slightly sweet and a bit sour wheaty and citrousy finish with light a light clovy spice. Balanced Hefeweizen (07.03.08).

On tap at the brewpub 6/11/07. Copper coloured with a decent white head. Slightly sweet malt aroma. Flavour was a bit nutty with some caramel sweetness and a dry finish. Ok.
