Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, belgian yeast, spicy notes, caramel, ripped fruit, light sweet, medium bitter. Medium to full body, malty and spicy bitter sweet finish. Ok.

Pours dark red to light brown, looking almost black as it fills the glass. A couple of finger of the slightest off-white head; quite dense with good enough retention and excellent lacing. Rich aroma shows a caramel malts base with the slightest roasted malts hint, slight sugar, dark and dried fruit notes and a delicate, warming alcohol presence. Taste notes the aroma closely: obviously sweet but nicely balanced by a relatively dry finish that leaves a dried fruit reminiscence. Dense bodied with average carbonation, in a quite full mouthfeel. An excellent example of what a belgian strong dark ale should be.
