The change in the U.S. beer scene has undoubtedly been revolutionary. We are proud of what we have accomplished in our short time to become a leader and innovator in the industry. The evolving tastes of beer drinkers has demanded bigger flavors, more variety, and better beer. That’s exactly what we give you at Revolution Brewing. Between our brewery and our brewpub, we produce dozens of different beer styles every year. IPAs, porters, pilsners, Belgian-style ales, pale ales, barrel-aged beers — the list goes on!
Our brewery has been a labor of love. You can see it in everything we do, from the beautiful details of our mahogany bar at the brewpub, to the massive beauty of our eight 800 barrel fermenters at the brewery, to the commitment to quality in each beer that we put in a can or a keg. Revolution believes in the value of hard work. We work hard to provide great, accessible brews for everyday people. We have fun doing what we do and hope you have fun drinking our beers!

Tap at Revolution Brewpub, Chicago - 04/11/12. Clear copper with reddish hues and a thin off white head which retains well. Good lacing follows. Hops and pine on the nose, orange pith, spice. Pine forward in the taste, hops, candied sugar, bitter orange peel, touch of spice. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, smooth on the palate and bitter in the finish. A rather decent Xmas beer well above the usual ho-ho, no-no humdrum!

Tap at Revolution Brewpub, Chicago - 04/11/12. Clear dark copper with a thin off white head that clears to the edges, forms a small lake but retains fairly well thereafter. Nose of sweet caramel malt, dark sugars, toffee, spice, fudge, prune, dates. Tastes of sweet sugars, dark toffee, booze, dark fruits, prunes, dates. Full bodied with fine carbonation leading to a sweet and boozey finish. An OK barley wine but a little over sweet and the alcohol isn’t that well hidden compared to some others.

Tap at Revolution Brewpub, Chicago - 04/11/12. Clear mid amber with a thin off white head, good lacing ensues. Bitter grapefruit at the fore of the nose, mango, pine, hops and caramel malt. Tastes of bitter aggressive hops, pine, tropical fruits, bitter grapefruit, tangy, hoppy, piney goodness! Medium to fuller in body with soft carbonation and fairly smooth. Really enjoyed this one, probably my favourite of the beers I sampled at Revolution, akin to a DIPA in many respects.
