Canned 4/2/24, drunk 6/19/24. Clear, bright golden-brass-bronze. Large, well-retained, white head. Spicy, snappy, crisp nose. Mineral, toasted baguette and lingering fresh herbs. Clean. Bready, malty, spicy and with a pleasing bitterness on the end. Maybe a bit sweeter and maltier than I'd prefer, but it's clean and the flavors are excellent.

500mL bottle drunk 6/18/24. Clear, dark. Dark beige/light tan head quickly to edges. Little bit of smokey character. Little bit of rye and light chocolate malt. Not boozey, though maybe a touch of alcohol yet. Very peppery. Rich malt but a bit of a dearth of body. It's not thin and I think moreso it's just very attenuated. But the light chewiness quickly runs it's course and leaves lots of light whiskey, chocolate and too light a finish. Surprisingly low booze. I mean, for a 9% scotch ale, it's lovely. For a contemporary BA dark beer, it's too light. Depends what you're looking for here.

Canned 4/3/24, drunk 6/17/24. Clear blonde-brass. Small, white head, quickly to ring. Bit floral, bit of wax or sunscreen. Fruity and biscuity. Bit of fruity pebbles. Kinda weird. Light, not too thin. But weird fruitiness. Kind of cereal-like, lightly bitter. Almost a light lactic suggestion. I don't know. Not lovin' it.

Brewery draught, 6/17)24. Clear, deep bronze-maize-golden. Small, white head. Maybe the best tequila treatment I've experienced. Dry, woody, a touch smokey, salty, no aggressive notes and not too vegetal. Perky pepper and light liquor on the end. Wow this really elevates the otherwise, sweet, hot, sharp, excessive Triple Sunshine. This is mellow, yet rich, but approachable and drinkable with excellent tequila character and lots of wood and light smoke. Very malty, big textures. Not high attenuation but it's reasonable. Not hot or boozey, whatsoever. Seems like this batch is far better than in previous years.

Brewery draught, 6/17/24. Clear golden-brass. Small, white head. Clean and crisp, a bit nutty and rustic. Low hop character. Earthy, nutty, light honeycomb, biscuit and lingering white bread. Definitely odd, but still clean and malty. Ample, though low bitterness. Lingering nuttiness, almost rice-like. Interesting.

Brewery draught, 6/17/24. Lightly hazy, bright bronze-golden. Small, white head. Juicy citrus with ample, honey-like maltiness. But of lime, bit of lemon, tasteful. Fruity, lightly juicy hops. Clean. Juicy, lemony, but not overdone w citrus. White bread, light lime, plentiful malt texture, but good attenuation.

Brewery draught, 6/17/24. Clear, light copper. Small, white head steadily to cover. Malty (white bread, hint of honey) with lemony, herbal Saaz and a clean, authentic yeast finish of mild spice and apple. Crisp, malty, peppery, good attenuation. Very nice yeast profile. Good balance, playful, almost fruity Saaz are very well expressed.

Brewery draught, 6/17/24. Clear, very bright marigold-golden. Small, white head to edge. Bright, juicy, fruity (tropical, light citrus) with mango and passion fruit and ripe stone fruits with supple, honey-like malts. Similar in the mouth with a hint of bready malt and ample bitterness. Juicy, malty, dry and flavorful with great balance.

16 oz can from Liquor Cave, Edison, 6/13/24. Grains and lemon. Solid flavor. Easy drinking, with a good feel. Maybe a touch thin, but it works fine here. Had the score lower after 1 can, but it grew on me as I drank a second.
